COURSE
Master of Divinity (M. Div.)
This is a three -year programme for graduates, intended to train candidates for teaching ministry as well as pastoral work. Candidates are required to complete courses for at least 110 credit hours and write a thesis of 10,000 words. The medium instruction is English. In addition to these, every student is required to complete the on-going programme of ministerial training parallel to the regular classes and one- month intensive ministerial orientation upon completion of classes.
Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.)
This is a three year programme for candidates with higher secondary certificate (10+2), intended to train students primarily for pastoral work. Candidates are required to complete courses for at least 115 credit hours. The medium of instruction is English. Every student is also required to complete the on-going programme of ministerial training parallel to the regular classes and one- month intensive orientation upon completion of classes.
Diploma in Theology (Dip.Th.)
This is a three year programme for candidates with SSC (10th passed), intended to train students primarily for pastoral work. Our Diploma is almost equivalent to B. Th. except that the medium of instruction is Malayalam. Every student is also required to complete the on-going programme of ministerial training parallel to the regular classes and one- month intensive orientation upon completion of classes.
Certificate in Theology (C.Th.)
This is a one year certificate course designed for mature candidates who have completed 30 years of age, passed high school (10th), and intend to engage in Christian ministry, but unable to enrol for a longer period of theological education . Candidates are required to complete selected courses for at least 40 credit hours. The medium of instruction is Malayalam. Every student is also required to complete the on-going programme of ministerial training parallel to the regular courses and one month intensive ministerial orientation upon completion of classes.
Affiliation/Accreditation.
Bethany Bible College is affiliated with the Assemblies of God Association for Theological Education in Southern Asia (AGATESA). The degrees and diploma (M. Div., B. Th. And Dip. Th.) offered by Bethany Bible College are accredited by the IATA.
